Citizens Bank Foundation underwrites Cardinal Shehan Center’s After School & Saturday Program

The Citizens Bank Foundation recently made a $5,000 donation to the Cardinal Shehan Center of Bridgeport. The donation will support its After School & Saturday Program that offers a safe haven where children can participate in experiences that would otherwise be inaccessible to them.

The Cardinal Shehan Center accepts students from elementary through high school and has developed programs to fit each age category. From coloring and finger painting for elementary school students to regulation basketball games for high school students, the After School & Saturday Program provides a fun environment where children can be with their friends. The After School program runs weekday afternoons from 2:15p.m. – 5:30 p.m. and the Saturday program runs Saturday from 10:00a.m. – 2:00p.m.
