Community Update

Hemlock Hardware has long been a home town favorite; having received awards and honors from the community for its service after natural disasters.  Three generations of the Pesavento family have received accolades from community members and customers for their quality customer service and wide variety of products.  It’s a modern hardware store with an old-fashion feel and unparalleled ability to answer every customer issue or question with ease.    Since 1979, this family owned and operated, full service hardware store, as remained true to itself; providing quality products at reasonable prices while putting the people they serve first.  Customer care is what set them apart.  But now, something else is getting them noticed.  Hemlock Hardware was just named a 2013 Hardware Store All Star by Home Channel News (HCN).   This prestigious award is bestowed upon only a selected few in the Nation.  To win this honor, industry insiders must select one store from the thousands of hardware stores, home centers and lumber yards of all sizes and volumes from all over the country.  From those nominations only one store per state is selected to make up the elite “50 stores from 50 states” list.  “We are honored to be recognized by our industry to be one the best.”  Said Scott Pesavento, the store’s owner.  A HCN All Star must display an All Star level of community involvement, an All Star level of customer service and an All Star level of business acumen.  “We are so proud to represent Connecticut and to be recognized among our peers for the development and execution of an innovative business model within our highly competitive industry.” Said Scott Pesavento.  Doing so while keeping customer service and community involvement a cornerstone is what makes Hemlock Hardware a 2013 Home Channel News All Star.
