FAIRFIELD COUNTY BANK SHOP EXPRESS WITH MOBILE APP FOR IPHONE

Ridgefield, CT – September 3, 2013:  Fairfield County Bank recently launched the iPhone Mobile App for its Shop Express program.  Now Shop Express users can access, view, and redeem local merchants’ offers and discounts via mobile device.  The App will show current location, and the consumer can receive an alert for offers in the area.  All the consumer has to do is show the mobile coupon to the merchant at point of purchase.

Shop Express initially launched in the spring of 2011, and has undergone significant improvements this past year.  It gives local merchants a place to provide special offers and discounts to consumers, and gives consumers an online site to get coupons for local merchant discounts. The focus is on the local community, growing the local economy, and strengthening local businesses.

“We are very excited to not only be able to offer the Shop Express Program, but for consumers to be able to conveniently access, view, and redeem these great discounts right from the palm of their hand,” stated Sandra Anderson-Howell, Senior Vice President of Marketing.
