PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, CAREGIVERS

  The public is invited to a series of community meetings regarding issues for people with disabilities who live in Fairfield. The focus groups will be hosted by the Department of Human and Social Services located at the Fairfield Senior Center, 100 Mona Terrace. Director, Terry Giegengack, stated that the goal of this outreach is to better understand what is needed and to respond to the needs of people with disabilities, caregivers and families in Fairfield.

 Meetings will be held at the Fairfield Senior Center cafeteria on Wednesday, October 23rd at 6 PM, Tuesday, October 29th at 11 AM and Wednesday, October 30th at 1 PM. A series of November meetings will be scheduled and the public notified to continue the conversation about the needs of people with disabilities in our community. 

Meetings previously scheduled for Oct 9th and Oct 16th have been cancelled.
