Please help! One of my kitty friends is missing.

Dog Spanky asks for you to help find a lost kitty in your area.

Hi Everyone,

Dog Spanky here with a quick shout-out to all my friends in Westport.  It seems that there is a very friendly tuxedo cat named Arthur missing in your area.  This morning my human received a notice that he was missing from 3 Dogwood Lane, in the Cross Street/South Compo area of Westport.  Can you help us to find him?

Arthur is a very young kitty, just over a year old.  He's a small, sweet boy at 9 lbs. and primarily black with-a-little-bit of white on his paws and neck.  He is very friendly and may be wearing a pink flower collar (sometimes collars can present problems if they get snagged on something and the kitty gets stuck or choked).  So please, if you see him, pick him up (he's had all his shots and is sweet) and get him to a safe place in your house or yard.  Then call 1-888-HOMEAGAIN (1-888-466-3242).  That is the microchip company that will get in touch with his heart-broken owners.

I've gotta tell you, I live with four kitty siblings and I would be so sad if any one of them went missing!  All of mine live indoors however, since my owner knows of all the perils that can befall kitties on the outside world, not to mention that is also safer for our little bird friends.  Like Arthur my kitties are black, however, while Arthur has white on his body and is known as a "tuxedo", my siblings are solid black!  And you might not know this, but just like black dogs, black kitties are the very last ones to get adopted.  It's crazy, but some people think that they're bad luck, and not as pretty as other types of kitties.  Well, from this canine's point of view - Black kitties are the best!  They have soft velvet-like fur and are nothing but good luck for my family!  I live with Lincoln (found on a freeway in Southern California), The "Baby" (found as a tiny kitten dumped with his litter in the woods at Lake Mohegan), Ritzi Roo (adopted from Wesport Humane Society) and Mrs. Emma Peel (adopted from the New Rochelle Humane Society).   And you see, I love all of my kitties from the bottom of my heart, just like Arthur's family loves him.

So please, look out for little Arthur, help find him, and become a local hero!  I would l love to write a follow-up story about how happy his family is now that he has been found and is finally home safe and sound.
