Fairfield Christmas Tree Collection Information

Fairfield Rubbish Haulers will begin to collect Christmas trees this week. Not a Rubbish Hauler customer? You can drop your tree off at Green Cycle on One Rod Highway.

A message from Michael Zembruski, Fairfield's director of Solid Waste & Recycling:

Fairfield Rubbish Haulers will be collecting Christmas trees from their customers starting the week of Jan. 2. Any collection questions should be directed to your hauler.

Christmas Trees must be placed at the curbside and cannot be wrapped in any plastic or have ornaments attached. If Christmas trees are greater than 7 feet, please cut them. Christmas trees cannot be mixed with the trash.

Residents that do not have a hauler can bring their Christmas trees to Green Cycle (295 One Rod Highway) for free disposal Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Green Cycle will be open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5 and Saturday Jan. 12. A valid sticker on your vehicle is required for entry.
