- Film Screening of “Forks Over Knives”: 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., Fairfield Public Library, free. A documentary following the work of a biochemist and a surgeon and their studies that showed the degenerative diseases could be prevented by a whole foods, plant-based diet.
- Fairfield Public Library Brings Best-Selling Author Lisa See to Fairfield: 7 p.m., Fairfield University Oak Room, free. Lisa See is the author of “Dreams of Joy.” Fairfield University is co-sponsoring the event with the library.
- TV Script Writing Workshop: 7 p.m., Fairfield Public Library, Memorial Room, free. Popular writing workshop leader Ryan Sartor will host the series of classes, which include understanding the structure of narrative television programs and writing an episode or two.
- Play Reading Series: 7 p.m., Greenfield Hill Village Improvement Society, $5. Slant of Light Theatre Company presents “Las Commedias.” The reading will be followed by a talk with the author, director, and actors. Light refreshments will be served.
- Fairfield American Little League is now open for registration for the spring.
