  • Free Car Washes: All day, Russell Speeder's (620 Villa Avenue), free. "In the aftermath of our most recent storm Russell Speeders Care Wash, at 620 Villa Avenue, Fairfield, is offering Free Car Washes now through December 6th. Fairfield will be our 19th location and we look forward to being a good neighbor in our new home. It’s our small way of helping others when they need help. It’s our small way of saying welcome to our new community."

  • Film Screening of "Vegucated": - 2 p.m., Fairfield Public Library, free. "Vegucated is a guerilla-style documentary that follows three meat and cheese loving New Yorkers who have agreed to adopt a vegan diet for six weeks.  During their journey they uncover hidden sides of animal agriculture that make them question their choices.  This film is part sociological experiment and part adventure comedy."
  • Stress and Mind-Body Connection Lecture: 7 p.m., Fairfield Woods Branch Library, free. "We will explore the meaning and message hidden inside stress, pain and illness and how to be at peace with what you find.  To get the most out of this series it is recommended that you attend all four sessions, though each will be a complete experience."
