If you’ve been following the story of Andy, the 11-year-old Corgi who ran away from a friend’s home in Westport on New Year’s Eve, you’ll want to “like” the group’s Facebook page for regular updates. Andy was last spotted by a jogger.

Jordina, owner of Andy, thanked the support she, her husband, and the search for Andy have received from friends all over the country:

Speaking of great team members we had a seriously large amount of flyers posted tonight because of some last minute rallying from team Andy! We will be adding more flyers and posters tomorrow. Thanks to your generous donations this has been possible. From the very bottom of my heart I thank you, words cannot express the gratitude and amazement I feel, being so blessed to have so much support and help from so many exceptional people.

The page provides video, photo, and regular updates throughout the day on how local sports teams are faring.

 

St. Catherine Academy, Fairfield, CT

St. Catherine Academy in Fairfield is a private school that serves students with special needs. They school is currently gearing up for its Duckie Derby fundraiser and announced on Facebook on Wednesday that the Fairfield Sun is accepting entries for a “Feeling Duckie” photo contest.

With summer vacations just under two months away for the children of Fairfield County, parents should check out the Facebook page for KidsOutandAbout.com.
