Five Things: RTM to Address Three Budget Appeals Monday Night

Here are five things to know about Fairfield for Monday, April 22:  

1. The weather.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will reach a high of 54 degrees. Expect a mostly sunny day. There's a slight chance of rain after midnight.  

2. Representative Town Meeting:
The RTM will review and vote on three budget appeals -- a request to restore $350,000 to the Pequot Library's budget; a request to restore $53,261 to for the hiring of a Senior Center Director; and a request to restore $8,750 to the Fairfield Counseling Services budget. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at McKinley School's All-Purpose Room.  

3. Anniversary Book Sale at the Fairfield Public Library.
There will be a large selection of fiction, children's, and young adult books in the TWICE REaD Room at the Main Library from April 22 - April 28.  

4. Divorce Support Group for Women:
Caroline Temple leads this support group each week on Katona Drive in Fairfield.
