Former Fairfield First Selectman Kenneth Flatto — who was by local elected leaders for his of the after in March 2011 — has reportedly resigned from his to take a new position with the in .
According to a report in the Fairfield Citizen, Flatto, who lives in town, resigned from his post in Gov. Dannel Malloy’s administrative offices in Hartford after eight months on the job. In the report he says he is "very excited" to serve as the Jewish Home’s new vice president for community services and business development.
Flatto served as first selectman from 1997 to 1999 and from 2001 to 2011. He starts his new position on Jan. 9, according to the Fairfield Citizen report.
