Why put your name on a story when all you are doing is summarizing what is on another site? You didn't do anything but READ the story.

Looks like the Jewish Home for the Elderly is getting a new train station!

Unbelievable

John, if you are so annoyed by it, why do you even visit Patchcom? just stay on the Ffld Citizen. We're all sick of your whining.
S. Frank January 05, 2012 at 01:49 PM
What was the Jewish Home thinking when they hired Flatto? Don't they read the papers? Fairfield may consider bringing a lawsuit against him for failure to follow proper procedure in finalizing an agreement with the state on the new train station, a controversial $40.8 million capital project. Is that what the Jewish Home wants in the position they hired him for? And, what about the $7.5 million money trail of unaccounted costs in the town of Fairfield that someone posted and the $30 million lost w/ Madoff? Of course, we're all innocent until proven otherwise, and he probably won't be proven otherwise, but talk about a smoking gun!

Ken, thank you for resigning. I feel much safer now that you are out of the political realm.
John Jameson January 05, 2012 at 01:55 PM
To TJC: I'm a news junkie, I look at all the news sites that cover Fairfield and frankly find it annoying when a supposedly "hyper local" site like Patch takes the lazy way out. If you're satisfied, good for you. I'm not and have a right to voice my opinion, whether you're tired of it or not. I'm tired of people who post comments that show they don't really know what they're talking about, but hey, it's a free world.
TJC January 05, 2012 at 02:45 PM
Knock yourself out. Someday you'll realize that being a "News Junky" in a town the size of Fairfield is somewhat limiting in that all of your outlets will indeed post the same news. My request is that you keep your whining to yourself, or create a new soapbox. Every other arrticle I read has a comment from you with the same compaint that has ZERO to do with the actual story. If the Citizen is so much better, why do you come to the Patch so much? And if you are freely choosing to do so, man up and stop the whining.

Amen to that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
John Jameson January 06, 2012 at 12:52 AM
TJC there's a difference between posting the same news and posting a story that appeared on another site. You guys all come on here and "whine" about anything and everything. And a lot of the comments just show how little the person posting knows about a particular situation. I go to a lot of town meetings to get informed. Do you? Or do you just complain?
TJC January 06, 2012 at 03:29 AM
blah blah blah.... or as my friend Ffld REsident would way: WAAAAAAAAHHHH. Its a simple message, JJ: If you dont like the way Patch reports, go away. Stop your little tantrums.

Ken Flatto is such a parasite. I would like to know how many back-room deals have been struck throughout the years and how many personal accounts have been funded and favors received by this man. Disarming them with his smile, how far can such a strategy continue to take him. Now that he has successfully exploited the private sector, he's is on to the private sector and the elderly. This man has no shame.
