'Friends' of the Library Ask for Support for FY14 Budget

The Board of Finance will review the library's budget tonight at 7 p.m. in the Board of Education Conference Room (501 Kings Highway East, second floor).

The Friends of the Fairfield Public Library organization ask that residents and patrons support the library's proposed $4.4 million budget at tonight's hearing and continue to do so through until the RTM votes on the fiscal plan in May.

"Last year, hours were reduced and fewer library materials (e.g. books. DVDs, audios, downloadables, etc.) were purchased," according to the Friends of the Fairfield Public Library Facebook page.

"Don't let this happen again," members of the non-profit state.
