Why Go: The market includes vendors offering organically grown herbs, vegetables, flower bulbs, breads, pies, maple syrup and more!

Saturday, March 12, 12-3 p.m.

Why Go: It's your lucky day!  Life is Good is hosting a St. Patrick's Day Party on March 12.  Enjoy free live music and festive activities for all ages.

What/When: Young Persons Concert, Pequot Library

Saturday, March 12, 2 p.m.

Why Go: Music for Youth and Pequot Library present a free one-hour Young Persons Concert featuring the 2008 Queen Elisabeth competition winner, violinist Ray Chen, performing on the famous "Huggins" Stradivarius, on loan from the Nippon Foundation. Concert suitable for ages 5 to 17.

Adults welcome when accompanying students or through a freewill donation. To register for the violin master class immediately following the concert, email pcum@optonline.net with the student's name, skill level, age and musical selection.

His dynamic presence, hard-driving wit and undeniable style make for a performance that leaves audiences breathless and always wanting more.

What/When: Fairfield County Chorale Concert, First Church Congregational

Sunday, March 13, 3-5 p.m.

Why Go: Guest Conductor Ellen Dickinson and Organist Sean Jackson from St. John’s Episcopal Church in Stamford will conduct a program of choral works featuring: Durufle´, Requiem, Dupre´, Prelude and Fugue in B, Stoop, Gnosis (CT Premiere) and Chilcott, Canticles of Light.
