According to a Patch reader who called the website HomeAgain PetRescuers (the site that sent out the alert that Hobie is lost), Hobie is STILL LOST. At least, the PetRescuers website does not have a confirmation that he has been found.

I can personally confirm that Hobie was found...due to everyone spreading the word via email and sites like this. I will ask Hobie's family to update these services.
