The NWS advisory says, depending on the track and intensity of the storm, the potential exists for "strong winds and heavy precipitation...including minor to moderate snow accumulation."

Friday looks to be more of the same.

The NWS is predicting rain and snow before 2 p.m., followed by a chance of rain. The high temperature is forecast at 41 degrees, with winds predicted between 13 and 21 mph and gusts as high as 33 mph. Snow accumulation is again forecast at less than an inch.

The good news is the rainy and snowy conditions are predicted to clear in time for the weekend.

Daytime Sunday should be sunny with a high near 46 degrees, and Sunday night's forecast is partly cloudy, with a low temp around 33, according to the NWS.
