PHOTOS: February Blizzard Buries Fairfield County

The winter storm dumped up to two feet of snow on our towns; share your pics here.

On Friday, Feb. 8, the state of Connecticut started bracing for what weather experts were calling the one of the most massive blizzards in years. By Saturday morning, the storm dumped up to two feet of snow on our towns and residents were directed to stay off of the roads, so that clean-up could begin. This photo gallery, compiled of photos from Patch users and local editors, is a look at the piles and piles of snow and ice the blizzard left behind. We would like to send our photos but we are literally snowed in -- can't open our doors to the outside and have been that way for 36 hours. No thanks to Fairfield Public Works, whose people are servicing others, presumably in Fairfield somewhere. Nice to know that 75% of side streets are clear, but our side street is untouched.

We are on a side street that is also untouched. Only our friends on main roads have been plowed out. The rest of us can't move. Frozen in Fairfield.
