Pool Heater Stolen From Shed on Center Street in Fairfield's Southport Neighborhood; Theft of Red Bull From Cumberland Farms; Package Containing $5K Worth of Medicine Reported Stolen From Adley Road

The Fairfield Police Department's press briefing on Friday included the following cases:

A 600-pound pool heater was reported stolen from a shed on Center Street in Fairfield's Southport neighborhood sometime between October and March 31. Police said the pool heater, if new, would be valued between $3,000 and $4,000. The theft was reported to police at 11:31 a.m. Thursday.

An unidentified man stole $60 worth of Red Bull, an energy drink, from Cumberland Farms on the Post Road in Fairfield about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. The theft was reported to police at 1:46 p.m. Thursday. Police said the man, described as white, tall, and wearing jeans, a gray shirt, long, heavy black jacket and a blue or black baseball cap, loaded from 10 to 12 cans of Red Bull in his shirt and left through a side door. An employee told officers "an abundance" of Red Bull had been stolen from the store over the past month, police said.

A package, delivered by UPS and containing $5,000 worth of medicine, was reported stolen from outside a side door on a house on Adley Road in Fairfield. The theft was reported to police about 4:37 p.m. Thursday.
