Renewed Effort Under Way to Save Historic Cottage

Fairfield Chamber of Commerce invites residents to July 12 meeting

If you are interested in saving the Gardener's Cottage to be used by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce as offices and a Visitors Center, please join Ken Karl, an historic preservationist from Litchfield County, to find out how you can help make this a possibility.

Date:  Tuesday, July 12
Time:  2 p.m.
Location:  Fairfield Museum and History Center, 370 Beach Road, Fairfield

We are looking for people who can roll up their sleeves to help save pieces of living history.

It is possible to move the cottage in one piece, renovate the cottage, and manage the cottage with its new identity as both a visitor information center and offices for the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.
