You’re invited to expand your energy awareness at Family Science Day on October 20, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the SmartLiving™ Center. This event, sponsored by Energize Connecticut in partnership with The United Illuminating Company, will include exhibits, shows and fun activities for kids of all ages, and free admission for all those who attend.
Featuring:
• Bash the Trash Workshops* – 10:00 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 2:00 p.m. where kids can create musical instruments from repurposed materials and play as a band
• Beardsley Zoo Shows – 11:30 a.m. show and 1:00 p.m.
• Norwalk Aquarium Shows – 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.

At the event, adults can also enter to win a GE High-Efficiency Top-Load Washing Machine, an ENERGY STAR® certified product valued at $399, by filling out an entry ticket. The drawing will be held at the conclusion of the event. Entrants are not required to be present at the time of the drawing.
