TO SPEAK ABOUT TYCO’S DENNIS KOZLOWSKI AT SACRED HEART UNIVERSITY



WHAT:                    Catherine
Neal will speak about her book Taking
Down the Lion
, which takes a look at the public scandal surrounding Tyco
International. Her discussion will highlight the triumphant rise and tragic
fall of Tyco’s Dennis Kozlowski.



WHO:                       Neal
is an associate professor of business law and business ethics in the Haile/US
Bank College of Business at Northern Kentucky University. Her expertise
includes white-collar crime, corporate internal investigations, corporate
governance and executive compensation. Throughout her research on the Tyco
scandal, she examined Dennis Kozlowski, his colleagues, his friends, his
attorneys and the company’s paperwork to get a closer look at the company and
CEO, as well as the true inside story. She interviewed many involved in the
debacle including Kozlowski’s prosecutor and the Board of Trustees of Tyco.
Neal is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
