Author Visit to Fairfield Public Library

The Fairfield Public Library will be hosting author Ray Bendici on Tuesday, February 11.  Mr. Bendici will be discussing his book Speaking Ill of the Dead:  Jerks in Connecticut History at 7:00 p.m. in the Memorial Room of the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.  There will be a snow date of Wednesday, February 26.
Ray Bendici has been an editor and award-winning writer for Connecticut Magazine for thirteen years.   He has driven nearly every mile of highway in Connecticut, visited the four corners of the state, as well as every town in between.  He is a veritable professional Connecti-phile.  Join us for an evening of fun as he shares his tales of famous and infamous Connecticut jerks!  The lives of notorious bad guys, perpetrators of mischief, visionary (if misunderstood) thinkers, and other colorful antiheroes, jerks and evil doers from history all get their due.
Advanced registration is required due to the limited space.  Books will be available for purchase and signing.  All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free of charge.  For more information and to register for this event call 203-256-3160, or visit us on the web www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org .  Follow the Fairfield Public Library on Twitter: www.twitter.com/fairfieldpublib and Facebook: www.facebook.com/fairfieldlibrary
