Basic Computer Classes for Adults this Summer at the Fairfield Public Library

Do you feel like the digital age is passing you by? Computers open the door to all kinds of information, but could you use a little guidance? We’re here to help! Sign up for the Library’s Adult Basic Computer Training series this summer. On three Saturday mornings, Sarah Eiseman, a Library instructor, will offer basic, hands-on training on how to search the internet, set up an email account, and manage documents.  Sign up for one, two, or all three classes and join the digital age! Students must have a general understanding of how to use a mouse and keyboard. The first class, “Basic Internet Use and Searching Skills”, will be held on Saturday, July 19 from 9:30 to 10:30 am in the Computer Lab at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.  Registration is required.

“Setting up a Gmail Account and Basic Email Etiquette” will be held on August 2 and “Managing Documents Online” will be held on August 16, also from 9:30 to 10:30 am.

All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free.  To register, or for more information on this and other programs, visit us at: www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org or call 203-256-3160.  Follow the Fairfield Public Library on Twitter:  www.twitter.com/fairfieldpublib and Facebook:  www.facebook.com/fairfieldlibrary.
