College Interviews 101 -- a Getting Ready for College Program at the Fairfield Public Library

The admission interview offers the only one-on-one face to face contact individuals can have with the schools to which they have applied.  Presenters Peggy Marx and Kyrie Stillman of College Interview Counselors will talk about how to have an “Impressive Interview” with focused communication.  This session will review the key aspects of the interview, and include two mock interviews for the audience to critique.  Samples of actual interviewer comments will also be reviewed.  This event will take place on Saturday, October 19 from 2:00-4:00 pm in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.  This is a program is for teens and parents.  Registration is required.

Peggy Marx and Kyrie Stillman have been co-chairs for the Tufts Alumni Admission Program for over 25 years of combined service and experience.  They have interviewed hundreds of students and know what admissions departments are looking for in applicants.  Now with their own business, College Interview Counselors, they are helping applicants prepare for successful interviews.

This program is part of the Library’s Getting Ready for College series.   A new topic will be covered each month.
