Cut-a-thon to benefit the Jim McNiff Memorial Golf Tournament

H Salon located at 2060 Post Rd, Fairfield will be hosting a cut-a-thon for the third year in a row to benefit the Jim McNiff Memorial Golf Tournament. This event was established in 2012 to raise money to support kidney cancer research at Yale Cancer Center. In two years, we have donated $35,000 that has funded the purchase of equipment needed to establish a kidney cancer tumor bank and the technical support necessary to collect and grow tumor and tissue cultures from patients undergoing kidney cancer surgery at Smilow Cancer Center. Stylists will cut and or style your hair and donate all payment to the tournament supporting the Closer to Free Fund at Smilow and Yale Cancer Center.
