Entrepreneurship Small Business Strategies Program at the Fairfield Public Library

Thinking of starting your own business? Join us for an introductory workshop, "Entrepreneurship: First Steps to a Successful Business," that focuses on the basics of testing your business idea and identifying the key factors that influence start-up success. Experienced businessmen Greg Bivona and George Unser will help you learn about the advantages and disadvantages of owning a business; the most profitable form for your business; and the fundamentals of formation, organization, marketing, cash flow and funding sources. This program will take place on Thursday, January 30 at 7:00 pm in the Rotary Room at the Main Library.  Registration is required.

Presenter Greg Bivona spent more than a dozen years managing, selling, and developing insurance products for small businesses. He has been associated with SCORE for several years and previously served as Chapter Chairman. George Unser has held top executive positions with two start-up companies.

This talk is part of the Small Business Strategies series for current and prospective entrepreneurs, presented through a partnership with the Greater Bridgeport chapter of SCORE, a non-profit dedicated to helping small businesses succeed through education and mentorship.
