Aztec Two-Step: 40th Anniversary Tour

In 1972 Rex Fowler & Neal Shulman burst on the scene with their Elektra Records debut and quickly became renowned for bringing the folk-rock music of the 1960s into the 70s and beyond.  Their subsequent albums on RCA Records were staples of progressive FM and college radio, and ever since then they have spent a lifetime making music together as the iconic folk-rock duo Aztec Two-Step.  As one of acoustic music's most respected and enduring acts, they continue to impress with intelligent songwriting, dazzling lead guitar, and inspiring harmonies.

Celebrating their 40th Anniversary, the band will perform many fan favorites as well as selections from Cause & Effect, their new CD of re-worked and previously unrecorded songs of social significance.  Playing with their longtime friend and bassist, Fred Holman, Rex & Neal will revisit older "give a damn" songs and debut new topical material from their vast and varied musical canon to create what will be a very special evening.
