Celebrate the 200th Anniversary of "Pride and Prejudice"

Come celebrate two centuries of Mr. Darcy and
Miss Elizabeth Bennet at a "Pride and Prejudice" book discussion at the Fairfield Public Library. For 200 years, the wit and love story of Jane Austen has captured the imagination of fans around the world.  Dr. Mark Schenker will speak in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road on Thursday, January 10 at 7 p.m. about what is considered one of the greatest novels of all time.

Schenker will lead a book discussion on "Pride and Prejudice" in honor of the book's 200th anniversary. Schenker is an Associate Dean of Yale College
and Dean of Academic Affairs.  He is also a part-time lecturer in the English Department. Schenker has led book
discussions and lectures on authors throughout Connecticut for 15 years.
