Celebrate the Ancient Chinese Culture @ Fairfield Public Library

Come celebrate the ancient Chinese culture during a special event at the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road.  The 5000-year civilization, rich in history and tradition, will be presented in a multimedia presentation Sunday, February 10 at 2:00 p.m. in the Rotary Room.
This “family friendly” event will kickoff with a presentation highlighting important aspects of the Chinese culture including art, philosophy and history.  It will continue with a traditional Chinese dance workshop.  The audience will have a chance to participate in the dance using long ribbons, drums and fans.
The dance is performed by Shen Yun Performing Arts.  This performance group was established in New York City in 2006.
