Craft Salon: Felt Cup Cozy with Alexcia Patterson at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library

Looking for a quick and cute holiday gift?  Come to the Craft Salon at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library on Saturday, December 1 at 11:00 am.  Crafter Alexcia Patterson will be our guide as we put together a felt cup cozy with simple embroidery.  A great stocking stuffer or possible present with a coffee shop gift card.  Alexcia runs a unique design studio, Make & Mingle in Westport, Connecticut, where children and adults create fabric-based products and learn crafts.  She will talk about starting up her studio and the inspirations for the projects she creates.

This is just one of the Craft Salons that the Fairfield Woods Branch is offering on the first Saturday of the month through May.  Each month will feature a different artist, author or crafter who will talk about their creative process.   Following the talk, we will work on a simple project lead by the speaker followed by an opportunity to purchase books and have them signed by the featured author.   These programs are for adults age 18 and up.  Registration is required.

The Fairfield Woods Branch Library is located at 1147 Fairfield Woods Road.

All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free.  To register or for more information, go to www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org or call 203-255-7308.  Follow the Fairfield Public Library on Twitter:  www.twitter.com/fairfieldpublib and Facebook:  www.facebook.com/fairfieldlibrary.
