Near & Far Aid to host concert for Sandy Relief

Near & Far Aid announces it will donate all of its proceeds from Thursday night’s ‘One Night Band’, Band Together, charity concert to Sandy relief. All monies raised will go directly to select local charities that can best serve our affected neighbors.

The energetic night of dance funk and soul music will be held at the Fairfield Theatre Company, 70 Sanford Street, Fairfield, on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. Admission is $75. The pre-party begins at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails provided by Tito’s and a gourmet burger bar served up Station Eats.

Near & Far Aid is an all-volunteer organization that has granted over $12 million to Fairfield County non-profit agencies working to improve the lives of children, families and individuals living in poverty. Band Together CT was founded by Rob Fried and Jerry Vigorito, who have a vision to create community-minded musical events that raise spirits and are fun to attend.

Tickets are now on sale for this fabulous evening of entertainment, delicious food and drinks and good company. To purchase tickets, please go to www.ftc.org or www.nearandfaraid.org.
