Ryan Montbleau

We're always proud to welcome the Ryan Montbleau Band into our cozy theater for a couple days. Ryan's voice, sometimes compared to Martin Sexton and Ray Lamontagne, is thick, soulful and drives the band's melody with poetic lyrics. With a reggae flaire, some twangy elements and plenty of soul, it’s fair to think of Jack Johnson or Citizen Cope when talk about the Montbleau band's groove and sharp lyrics. In his own regard, Ryan is certainly at the front of the acoustic-singer crowd, especially given that his fanbase originally built up from a grassroots following and word of mouth. They're a gruffer, jazzier and more accessible version of the Dave Matthews Band (minus the violin, plus a viola and a tuba) and they leave StageOne exhausted for days after a show. Don’t miss these guys, it’s one of our favorite honors to present them on StageOne.
