Shoreline Ringers at Fairfield Grace

Shoreline Ringers, a handbell choir based in Ledyard, CT, and under the direction of Jane Nolan, will perform a holiday concert at Fairfield Grace United Methodist Church on Saturday, December 8th, at 3:00 p.m.  Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students over 12 years and $5 for children 12 years and under.

The goal of this choir is to promote handbell ringing as a legitimate musical art form while educating audiences and increasing their knowledge and appreciation of handbell music through concert performances.  The ringers, some of whom are handbell directors in their own churches, are from throughout central and eastern Connecticut.

This group was established in January 2006 and began giving concerts in June of 2006.  They ring 5 octaves of handbells and 5 1/2 octaves of handchimes.  Shoreline Ringers highlight a variety of techniques and rhythms in their ringing and promise fun for all.  For more information visit their website at www.shorelineringers.org.
