Solano Community Symphony presents its Salute to Youth concert on Saturday and Sunday, February 9 and 10. The concert will feature the Winners of the 2012 Young Artists Competition and Solano County Youth Orchestra.
Featured soloists include Soprano Aerial Wernecke, who will be singing Vilja’s Song from The Merry Widow. Emily Doherty is the featured soloist on the English Horn, in Concertino for English Horn and String Orchestra. Dr. Steve Thompson is the Music Director of the Solano County Youth Orchestra.
The Saturday performance begins at 8:00pm at Solano Community College in Fairfield. The Sunday performance begins at 3:00pm at the Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre in Vacaville.
