“Serenity is not freedom from the storm, it is peace amidst the storm”, Dr. Paul Epstein.  The Fairfield Public Library will host a four-part series featuring Dr. Paul Epstein, ND beginning, Wednesday, November 28 at 7 p.m.  The lecture will be at the Fairfield Public Library Woods Branch, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road and will continue December 17, January 14 and February 4.
Studies reveal that 75-90 percent of all visits to the family doctor are for stress related complaints.  This is the first in a four-part series on the Healing Power of Mind-Body Medicine.  The series will focus on the principles, practices and therapies of mind-body medicine and their application in health care and healing.  We will explore the meaning and message hidden inside stress, pain and illness and how to be at peace with what you find.  To get the most out of this series it is recommended that you attend all four sessions, though each will be a complete experience.
Dr. Paul Epstein, ND is a Naturopathic Physician, mind-body therapist, mindfulness meditation teacher, and author.  He maintains a private practice in Westport treating people with chronic pain and stress related disorders.
Advanced registration is required due to the limited space.  All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free of charge.  For more information and to register for this event call 203-255-7308, or visit us on the web www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org .  Follow the Fairfield Public Library on Twitter: www.twitter.com/fairfieldpublib and Facebook: www.facebook.com/fairfieldlibrary

FHA Exposed, you can rest. She turned herself in:Read More http://www.justice.gov/usao/ct/Press2013/20130604.html If you are looking for some comeuppance for those that kept this quiet, and handled what they could out of the public's eye, I wish you success in your endeavors, and the best of luck--I think you'll need it.

Atticus, Ralph Arnone is next scheduled to appear in court on July 1st, at which point he isRead More expected to enter a plea. As an aside, one isn't supposed to go to bed and wake up still angry at the same thing, day in, day out, week in, week out, month in, month out... I'm not trying to give you a hard time. I care deeply about firefighters and I'm genuinely concerned about you. You were exposed to a lot of chemicals in your career. You may have some endocrine system damage or something causing an electrolyte disorder. This stuff starts out with things like joint pain and minor psychological implications but, it gets much, much worse. Get to the doc. Maybe you're just a spicy guy, maybe Ralph hurt you in some terrible way, or maybe you are sick and as a result, you'll be facing a much shortened a painful life. Honestly, I'm not trying to give you a hard time or pick a fight.
