Surviving Sandy: Building Resiliency and Helping Kids Cope

One month after Hurricane Sandy, it is normal for people of all ages to still be coping with the effects of the disaster.  Join us at the Fairfield Public Library for a meeting to discuss the emotional impact of the storm and to learn what to expect in the wake of a traumatic event.  This program will be led by clinical psychologist Jessica Mass Levitt, PhD who has expertise in the treatment of trauma disorders among children, adolescents and adults.  Find out how to build resiliency in your children, yourself, your family and your community.  This program will take place Tuesday, December 11 at 7:00 pm at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.

Levitt has a private practice in Fairfield and is a senior psychologist at the Metropolitan Center for Cognitive Behavior Therapy in New York City.
