A favorite library lecturer and book discussion leader, Dr. Mark Schenker, joins us this March for a special book talk on Wonder by R. J. Palacio. Dr. Schenker always brings something unexpected to the discussion. His book talks are enriched by his extensive of knowledge of literature and a remarkable ability to draw interesting comparisons from all the arts. Expect a lively discussion and exchange of ideas. This talk will take place Thursday, March 7 at 7:00 pm in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Registration is required.
Dr. Mark Schenker is Senior Associate Dean, Dean of Academic Affairs and a lecturer in English at Yale College. He has been leading book and film discussions in Connecticut for more than 25 years and given book talks for the five previous One Book One town picks in Fairfield. His talk is always one of the “can’t miss” events on the One Book One Town program list.
