Using Social Media in Your Job Search -- a JOBS Series Talk at the Fairfield Public Library

Is your LinkedIn profile complete and presenting you in the best way possible?  Do you know how to use a hash tag strategically?  Can you read about a company’s culture from a social media source?  Do you know what RT, DM, FF are all about?  Do you speak tweet?  Is Facebook providing the social media support that can help you with your career campaign?  Learn winning strategies from Social Media Career Strategist Linda Van Valkenburgh that can help you use social media to your best advantage.  This program will take place Thursday, November 29 at 7:00 pm in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.


Linda Van Valkenburgh is the owner of My Executive Career Coach LLC.  She is a Certified Career Management Coach and a Certified Job Search Strategist.  


This talk is part of the Library’s award-winning speaker series, Jobs 2012, now in its fourth year.  The talks are supplemented by the Library’s Wednesday morning networking group, a LinkedIn networking group, one-on-one career counseling sessions, Job Search Boot Camp, podcast recordings of over 100 past presentations online (www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org), and an updated collection of job-hunting books.
