The Fairfield Public Library Health Series is hosting a lecture: Weight Loss After 40 on Thursday, February 28. The lecture will be held in the Rotary Room of the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road at 7 p.m.
Gaining weight after 40 is not an inevitable part of the aging process. Learn the real reasons we gain weight (hint: it’s not just about the food). You can avoid the gain, lose the pounds, and maintain a healthy weight, just by changing your habits and mindset.
Annette Alfieri is the creator and founder of Lighten Up! Weight Loss. Annette believes “The way we feel about ourselves is the way we put ourselves out into the world. Releasing yourself from the constant constraints of dieting allows you to take that energy and redirect it into a happier, healthier way of living.” She has helped hundreds of people lose weight through diet-free living. She is a clinical nutritionist and wellness coach.
Advanced registration is required due to the limited space. All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free of charge.
