Exhibition "Pages from Pequot"

A selection of rare books and illustrations from Pequot Library's  Special Collections in celebration of the 125th anniversary of Pequot Library. Free and open to the public.

The exhibition includes, yet is not limited to these rare books on display: "Common Sense" by Thomas Paine, 1776; "White Fang" by Jack London, 1906; "Women Designers of Book Plates" by Wilbur Macy Stone; "Flowers from my Garden" by Laura Gordon Munson, 1864.

Displayed on the walls are prints of scanned original illustrations and wood-cuts by Barry Moser, Rockwell Kent, and Clare Leighton.  Also, prints from John Gould's "A Monograph of the Trochilidae or Hummingbirds," 1849-1861 will be on display.
