Explore the Europe You Haven't Seen @ The Fairfield Public Library

The Fairfield Public Library is hosting its third Travel Destination Series presented by Susan Farewell.  This travel discussion will be on The Europe You Haven’t Seen.  The lecture will be on Monday, October 28 at the Fairfield Woods Branch, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road, at 6:30 p.m.

Most people who have traveled to Europe have probably visited cathedrals, viewed museums, dined in outdoor cafes and walked the cobbled streets of old towns.   If you want to go back to Europe, but want to go beyond the obvious and dig deeper in countries, join Susan as she peels away the layers and gets behind the tourist facades.  She will give you advice on finding these locations, when you should go and how expensive the trip may be.

Susan Farewell has been traveling to and writing about travel destinations for many years and handcrafting trips for travelers seeking her advice.  She is President and Editor-in-Chief of Farewell Travels LLC.  Farewell is a former travel editor at Conde Nast Publications.  Farewell’s travel writing has appeared in numerous publications including Vogue, Gourmet and Travel & Leisure.
