FIRST LEGO League TEAM

First LEGO League - FLL engages younger students with real world engineering by challenging them to build LEGO-based robots to complete task. We are looking for 8-9 students to join the team.
The Challenge has three parts: the Robot Game, the Project and the FLL Core Values. Teams of up to ten children (ages 9-14), with one adult coach can participate in the Challenge.
If you are interested in registering your kid for the Challenge, please read below responsibilities. We are looking to build team before August 31st 2013. This year’s challenge is “Nature’s Fury”.  Challenge is going to be as early as in November so we need to start with building team now.
Responsibilities of participants:
1) We will need to meet 8-10 weeks for two hours to prepare for the challenge. Our location to meet would be Westport, CT. Our meeting day would be Sunday: 2:00 – 4:00 pm. Meeting will start from September.
2) We need to do teamwork at each step: project research, building and presentation. In challenge, robot game is given 2.5 minutes to complete mission. Additionally there would be two judging session for core values and project.
