Funky But Better

You may have some questions about Funky But Better. That's understandable.

They're a very mysterious troupe, touring pretty much off of word of mouth. With only a sliver of press, this New Orleans Super Group is sliding under the radar to play an intimate show at The Fairfield Theatre Company. At the time of their debut at the Fiya festival, Funky But Better featured Big Sam (Big Sams Funky Nation and The Dirty Dozen Brass Band), Doug Wimbish (Living Colour), Eric McFadden (Parliament Funkadelic), Nigel Hall (Nigel Hall), Roosevelt Collier, Terence Higgins (Dirty Dozen Brass Band), and Khris Royal (Rebelution, George Porter), as well as a rotating cast of guests.

MEMBERS:
Big Sam (Big Sam's Funky Nation)
Eric McFadden guitar/vox (pFunK)
Doug Wimbish bass (Living Colour)
Stanton Moore drums (Galactic)
... and special guest

Wish we could tell you more, but you'll just have to see this one for yourselves. There's nothing like being there, and this could be it; once in a lifetime, the only chance to see these titans of southern funk share a stage, much less a stage this size.
