Healthy After the Holidays -- a Wellness Series Talk at the Fairfield Public Library

If you came into January filled with post-Holiday regret, don’t despair. There is no need to go on a five-day juice cleanse or detox diet. Learn how to shake off excess holiday weight gain and fatigue and get back on track. Learn uncomplicated and realistic food and nutrition tips from culinary nutritionist Heather Carey. This Wellness Series presentation will take place on Thursday, January 16 at 7:00 pm in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.  Registration is requested.

Presenter Heather Carey, MS is a culinary nutritionist who helps people make meaningful changes in their diets that will contribute to long-term health and fitness goals.  She received her master's degree in clinical nutrition from New York University and her chef certification from the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts. Carey has extensive experience working as a nutritionist and cooking instructor.
