Jeff Pitchell and Texas Flood
Nothing screams summer like The Blues, and nobody plays the blues like Jeff Pitchell and Johnny A. Two heads are better than one, and backed by Texas Flood, these two promise to bring a bevy of blues and some no holds barred guitar duels.
Jeff Pitchell is a Connecticut legend, having been recognized as the best guitarist in the state at the early age of 15. He honed his craft with the influence of players like Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and played passionately for anyone who would listen. His art brought him to the attention of some pretty serious ears, and for this performance he'll be joined by Charles Neville.
Charles Neville has carved out a unique spot for himself within his illustrious family as an incredibly diverse saxophonist. His musical vocabulary includes not only the second line funk for which his family is known, but a myriad of other styles including Bebop, Rhythm and Blues, Traditional Jazz, and American Indian Music.
