Music for Youth presents WindSync, a woodwind ensemble at the next FREE Young Persons’ Concert on November
16th, Saturday, 2 PM, at Pequot Library, Southport. Winners
of the 2012 Concert Artists Guild Victor Elmaleh International Competition, WindSync
is a fresh and energetic wind quintet thrilling audiences nationwide with their
unique approach to classical music. These five virtuoso players
specialize in creative, engaging, and interactive concerts that inspire
audiences of all ages. Based in Houston, WindSync has performed
all over the US since its inception in 2009. No tickets needed, but
adults should be accompanied by a young person aged 5 to 18. Master
classes for intermediate to advanced
students of flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and French horn will follow the
