NAMI Fairfield presents "Minority of Mind" Book Discussion About Living with Schizophrenia

NAMI Fairfield will hold its First Wednesday of the Month




Meeting on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Ben Boone, author of “Minority of Mind”,


a book about living with schizophrenia, will talk about his life and recovery.

During the past ten years Ben has been hospitalized nine


times, the first coming the day after he graduated with a degree in writing and publishing from Emerson College in Boston. Ben talks about his struggle to be defined as a person and not as a manifestation of his illness.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 2 in the Eliot


Room Library, First Church Congregational, 148 Beach Road, Fairfield from 7:30-9 pm. It is open to the public, is free of charge, and light refreshments will be served. For more information please call Judy at 203-650-3463.
