Steel Pulse

Birmingham England’s, Steel Pulse preach love and justice through some of the best roots Reggae jams around. With one of the most recognized names in Reggae, and a strong history of activism, Steel Pulse have become an integral voice in both music and charity. “Without love there is no justice, and without justice there is no peace,” says David “Dreads” Hinds. Reggae musicians have always used their talents to call for harmony, and Steel Pulse are proud bearers of the torch; helping to bring us together and bring us a little closer to Jah Kingdom.

Steel Pulse’s 1798 debut, Handsworth Revolution, is regarded as a high point in British Reggae. They found an early audience in the Punk scene, playing shows with other subversive and Reggae leaning bands like The Clash, XTC, and The Police. These days, Steel Pulse are a mainstay in live music, bringing their message of love to concert halls and festivals around the world.
