The Beatles: Band of the Sixties -- a presentation at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library

Beatlemania is alive and well, 50 years later!  Come explore the music of the ever-popular Beatles in a 60-minute presentation that spans the full 1960s, beginning with the band’s seminal visit to Hamburg, through the Beatlemania years, and concluding with Abbey Road.  Beatles scholar Aaron Krerowicz will lead this lecture, supplemented with audio clips of music and excerpts of interviews with band members.  Join us on Saturday, February 22 from 3:00 to 4:30 pm at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road.  Registration is requested.

Presenter Aaron Krerowicz holds both a Master’s of Music and a Graduate Artist Diploma in Composition.  He currently teaches musical keyboarding and leads the school band at Grace Academy in Hartford.  He delivers lectures, presentations, and leads discussion courses on the Beatles throughout Connecticut.
