The Subdudes

No one hits Swamp Rock quite like The Subdudes. This now legendary New Orleans group are back in action by popular demand; boatload of soul, and an attitude to match. Playing there first string of shows since their 2011 Hiatus, The Subdudes are back on the road with their blend of Zydeco, Southern Rock, R&B, and The Blues; the same standout sound, and effortless performances which have always made them stand out. The Subdudes began in 1987. Their 1989 self titled album surprised people with a raw and catchy material, tight harmonies, and the notable and unorthodox substitution for a drum kit by Tamborine. The Subdudes have had their ages and stages, and whatever the changes they’ve always made only the best music. The Fairfield Theatre Company couldn’t be more excited to have them back.
