Wilton Psychiatrist Talks about new Novel @ Fairfield Public Library

The Fairfield Public Library will be hosting psychiatrist turned fiction writer, Mark Rubinstein on Wednesday, October 2.  He will talk about his latest book, Love Gone Mad at 7 p.m. in the Rotary Room of the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.
Love Gone Mad is a thriller in which a heart surgeon and a nurse at a Connecticut hospital find themselves the target of a seemingly unstoppable stalker.  This brilliant and crafty stalker is seeking revenge for a crime that lives only in his own mind.  Chilling surprises await the couple as the novel concludes with an ending that will leave the readers questioning the country’s legal system and the competence of some members of the psychiatric community.
Mark Rubinstein grew up in Brooklyn, NY, near Sheepshead Bay.  After earning a degree in Business Administration at NYU, he served in the U.S. Army as a field medic.  He was discharged from the military, he went to medical school, became a physician and then a psychiatrist.  As a forensic psychiatrist, he was an expert witness in many trails.  After his career in psychiatry, Rubenstein began to think about the stories he might tell in novel form, drawing from all of the things he had learned about human behavior and the thin line between being in love and insanity.  His first thriller, Mad Dog House was released in the fall of 2012.  After finishing his first book, Rubinstein decided to devote himself to writing and officially retired last year.
Copies of his books will be available for purchase and signing.  Advanced registration is required due to the limited space.  All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free of charge.  For more information and to register for this event call 203-256-3160, or visit us on the web www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org .  Follow the Fairfield Public Library on Twitter: www.twitter.com/fairfieldpublib and Facebook: www.facebook.com/fairfieldlibrary
